Journey to the Kingdom of Dreams, where the Sandman is celebrating the birth of his daughter Aurora. He's invited every Sweet Dream in the land to come and bestow gifts upon the Princess, but he's snubbed the dangerous Mara, Lady of Nightmares. When Mara arrives at the celebration, uninvited and furious, she curses the Princess, decreeing that before Aurora turns sixteen, she will fall into the Realm of Nightmares.
